A bit of experimenting
Did a little photography experimenting with those trinkets. I was thinking of all the the amazing pictures I really enjoy and the talent out there is jaw dropping. So, I thought I’d share some that I love, these and here are some nice ones. Here is some more inspiration and photos I love, here, here and she alwayshas amazing photos from all over. I’m also fascinated by Lomography. I noticed flickr is going to be a part of Analogue Lounge display and here is a groupthat pretty much explains it all. Fun huh? It’s amazing what photos they get. I think investing in a photo editing program is a good idea. I have absolutely nothing at the present time. There are some amazing things people do by altering their digital photos. Does anyone recommend one? I was thinking photoshop. It seem to be a very popular one but I’ve heard it can be a little confusing and takes awhile to understand, that is until you know your way around the program. I should probably head over to this site and see what they say. This website is full of great info.
Ok, I leave you with one more photo link that I think is simply adorable.
Have a great weekend.

I want to play

Over labor day weekend we hit several yard sales. This was one of my squealing delight finds and only for $2. There was a lot more in the bag, including vintage Christmas items and several owls. One of the owls being in the last picture.
The only thing that was not part of the lot are the glass beads with the painted flowers. Those are vintage but I’ve had them for awhile. What do you think, enough charms here to make a couple of those great bracelets? This lady makes amazing ones. I’m so wanting to play like a kids in colored sand. My husband is going slower than I like on my craft room. It’s so close to being done that I just about can’t stand it. I’m very tempted to put a fire under him but I’m holding my tongue. He has been working very hard on it after all. I may just have to bring down a few of those boxed up supplies.
In the meantime, I think I’ll set up some of these trinkets and try to take some really fun pictures with them. Wish me luck

Owl in the trees
Take a walk through nature. You never know what you might find.Â
This little guy of course, found a little help getting there. The other night however, I heard an owl that was being seriously vocal and just keep at it for a very long time. I guess he had a lot to say.

Memories in a box
My first lunch box. My mom gave this to me the other day, she thought it would go with the yellow 50′s table I bought this year. Maybe store something crafty in it or just display it. This one is the actually lunch box I carried to kindergarten. Â
The other day I went into an antique shop and on the shelves was one just like mine. I’m not that old yet but it’s still a little mind boggling to see some item or toy from your childhood in their store. I think that makes me feel like I’m aging more than the 2 gray hairs I keep having to pull out. My past is already in an antique shop. ~sigh~

This is what tells me fall has arrived.
It seems riotous has won out. I’m a little of both. I love order, it’s calming to me, serene and safe feeling. It makes me feel relaxed and peaceful. I can actually think with order. When a lots going on, it seems I can’t clear my head. The older I get the more I love order and symmetry. I crave it. On the flip side, it something that doesn’t come natural to me, so I have to work at it. Having kiddos running around the house requires some craziness that is just to be. Plus when I’m crafting and working on a project, my craft table it riotous indeed. But that is always a fun mess. So I guess, I just need to keep one foot on each side of the scale and try to keep the happy balance for myself.

We went apple picking this week. Orchards full of peaches, apples, jars of jams, fresh cheese and variety of vegetables. That tells me fall is here. Part of me is excited to curl up in a over sized sweat shirt and pull out my most loved, loved, loved boots. The other part that doesn’t enjoy winter much, well not at all really, wants to wait and cling on to those last few days of summer. None the less, change of the season is here.
I also want to thank you all for the lovely comments. I apologize for not getting back with a lot of you. You all have been in my thoughts and put smiles on my face. I’ve also been having more email and hosting problems. They are helpful and fix what issue they have but it’s not long before another problem arises. I like supporting this hosting company because they themselves support working moms and women, but I do want something that keeps having this many problems. No one likes to randomly not be able access there site, some times days at a time and then find their email doesn’t work either and everything with in that time has been lost. Yes, I lost emails again. For a while now I’m thought of updating and changing things around but I’m very afraid to do anything with the hosting package I have at the present time. I guess time to move on.
SO, if anyone knows of a hosting company that is very easy to use. I prefer cpanel, and very reliable, with reasonable rates, PLEASE Please, PLEASE recommend someone to me.
Have a Happy and Fun weekend.
